Dr. Lin Liu graduated from Shandong Traditional Chinese Medical University in Jinan, China, where she studied both Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Chinese Medical Herbs for six years. After that, she studied for three more years to earn a Master degree in Acupuncture. Dr. Liu practiced TCM and Acupuncture at Liang Shan Traditional Chinese Medical Hospital in Liangshan, China for seven years as a Chinese Medical Doctor.
She is the daughter of highly acclaimed Traditional Chinese Medical doctors. The fourth in her family to follow in the medical tradition, she was steeped in herbal knowledge from a very early age and carries the collective experience of four generations. She is also open to and familiar with Western medical knowledge. She teaches her patients that TCM should be seen as complimentary to Western medicine and that they work well together.
Dr. Liu has worked as Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medical Doctor in our community for over 20 years. She is the owner and head practitioner of Eastern Healing Center in Winnipeg. Dr. Liu specializes in infertility, internal balance and uncommon problems which western doctors can’t work on, and she is also renowned for her pain management skills.
She is the President of CMAAC (Manitoba Chapter), President of TCM and Acupuncture Association of Manitoba, and a Licensed Acupuncturist throughout Canada. She is also the principal of the newly established Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture College of Manitoba. Her tireless devotion to sharing this wonderful tradition of Chinese Culture is truly an inspiration.
Yutong (Angelina) Cai
Facial Lifting, Tui Na
Studied at the Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture College of Manitoba and University of Manitoba for Nursing. She specializes in Chinese Facial Acupressure (Facial Lifting), Tui Na (Chinese Acupressure massage) and Chinese Herbal Medicine. Fun, positive and upbeat, Angelina always brings a smile to those around her.
Gina is a licensed remedial massage therapist. She also practices Cranio-Sacral therapy, Reiki, Reflexology, Myofascial Release, and is a talented esthetician. She is passionate and committed to the wellness of her patients.
Dr. Wei (Wayne) Zou
Dr. Wei Zou graduated from Norman Bethune Health Science Center of Jilin University, where he studied both modern Western medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine for five years, and studied for additional three years to earn a Master's degree in Clinical Hematology. He practiced at Beijing Daopei Hospital, Beijing military general hospital and Beijing Royal Integrative Medicine Hospital for 10 years. He is an expert at diagnosis and treatment of hematologic diseases, autoimmune diseases and oncological (tumor related) diseases. Dr. Zou works as a Herbalist and Acupressure Therapist at Eastern healing center. A warm, caring individual, Wayne puts his heart and soul into his practice.
Emily is a graduate of Wellington College of Remedial Massage Therapies. As a massage therapist, her goal is to improve her clients' quality of life and well-being through massage therapy. By assessing each client individually and understanding what they need, she incorporates different massage techniques to relieve pain, reduce stress, release muscle tension, and increase one's range of motion. She tailors her treatment according to each client's needs.
In her spare time Emily loves to grow different types of vegetables.
Emily is fluent in Cantonese.
